Three medals awarded at the CGA
Paysan Breton brought home three medals from the General Agricultural Contest on 28 February 2023, an offshoot event of the Salon International de l’Agriculture in Paris. The jury awarded prizes to a number of Paysan Breton products, including two gold medals!
- Gold for Paysan Breton slightly salted moulded butter; the balance of aromas rich in character made all the difference.
- Gold for Madame Loïk Nature whipped cheese, with its taste and light texture that conquered all the foodies.
- Bronze for Paysan Breton Professional crème fraiche, which won the judges over with its flavour.
The famous white seal with a gold or bronze oak leaf will appear prominently on all our prize-winning products. The Concours Général Agricole now more than ever holds a special place in the hearts and choices of consumers who are looking for quality and reassurance; over half the people in France have bought a prize-winning product in the last 12 months. Of the 22,000 products and wines entered for the competition this year, 1,680 were awarded medals - 549 gold, 740 silver and 391 bronze.
