The key to industrial performance
Our in-house laboratories play a key role in ensuring that our products can be safely brought to market and in building lasting trust with our customers. The expertise of our teams ensures that their analyses are reliable and essential response times are observed; they must be able to cope with peaks of analytical activity and return results within short time frames, while keeping costs under control.
The assignments handed to laboratories are increasingly complex, mainly as a result of regulatory changes. It is becoming essential to develop new analytical capabilities, to reduce our dependence on outsourcing, to refine our methods and to demonstrate the effectiveness of our installations to stakeholders.
In consideration of these circumstances, Laïta has invested in modernising its laboratories in recent years; working conditions have been improved, equipment renewed and performance management tools introduced. Our laboratories operate to the same high standards as our production facilities, with precise indicators and rigorous management.
New central laboratory at the Ploudaniel site
Following a year of construction work, the new central laboratory has now been operational since March 2025 and houses most of the teams from the former Landerneau and Ploudaniel sites. An investment of 4.9 million euros has gone into the project, the objective of which is to underpin the increase in importance and diversification of laboratory analyses and improve working conditions for the staff.
Covering an area of 1,700m², this modern, functional laboratory has allowed staff to broaden the scope of their analyses and respond more promptly to the needs of customers and production workshops.
