As head of production activity in the UHT unit, Damien Perdereau has the satisfaction of doing a worthwhile job.

Attracted by the cooperative venture
As an agri-food engineer, Damien Perdereau first went into management with a large dairy group and later worked in the fast food industry, before joining Laïta Nutrition as head of production in the UHT sector.
"I was first attracted by the company’s values, the cooperative set-up and the nutrition sector - a key sector and very important because the work we do in clinical, adult and infant nutrition is aimed at vulnerable people."
‘Conductor’ of an extensive team
Damien sees himself as the conductor of an orchestra, leading the 70 players involved in producing and delivering customer orders and complying with deadlines, costs and safety and quality requirements. His job involves listening to, organising, supporting and developing his staff:
"It’s a human challenge above all, but also a technical challenge because we’re introducing new technologies and processes for the benefit of our customers and our business. I love the overall dynamic and I put a lot into it, to bring coherence to the team and give them a sense of collective well-being at work."
