Sophie

Director of Finance and Administration

Sophie came to Laïta in 2015 to take up a management control position after graduating from the École de Commerce. It was the human dimension at Laïta that influenced her decision.

Co-pilot for operational staff

Sophie joined us in 2015 after several years working for a major group. Based in Brest, she was first appointed to the post of director of management control and later became the administration and finance director. For Sophie, management control is like being a co-pilot for the managerial and operational staff in making decisions.

Explaining and making sense of things

Management control means analysing financial elements and identifying operational indicators to guide the development of our activities. "Our mission is to make sense of the data so that together we can target our activities according to our analyses. Good interpersonal skills are essential to properly understand the work of the operational staff and respond to production issues."

I’m Breton by origin and I’m very attached to the territory. Laïta is a closeness to the territory and the very essence of Brittany.

Closeness and human relations

The occupation is directly related to everyday life and human relations play a large part of it. "Joining a dairy cooperative, for me, was also an opportunity to be part of an organisation with a human dimension, which I’d never experienced before."
